The painter Eugen Prinz-Schulte worked as a commercial artist in his early years, for example for companies such as Henkel, Märklin and Dujardin. After the war, during which he lost almost all of his early work, Prinz-Schulte worked exclusively as a portrait painter. His pictures primarily depicted personalities from business, science and politics.
